Gascon and Associates is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Notary M\u00e9lissa Dion as a member of the legal team in real estate law, and Anouk Chabot (CPA) as the firm\u2019s General Manager.<\/p>\n
M\u00e9lissa has been practising as a notary since 2016 and has focused her activities primarily in real estate, commercial, and co-ownership law. Her ability to communicate and her negotiating skills have been invaluable in many of the large-scale financing and acquisition cases she has been involved in. Her professional background has also provided her with the opportunity to work on significant divided co-ownership projects, and to gain and expand knowledge in this field.<\/p>\n
During her university years, M\u00e9lissa became involved in various student committees and took part in programs promoting the role of women. Today, she continues her volunteer activities by focusing her efforts on an aspect that is of particular importance to her, which is the passing on of legal knowledge and the training of the next generation of notaries.<\/p>\n
She earned a master\u2019s degree in notarial law from the Universit\u00e9 de\u00a0Sherbrooke, a bachelor\u2019s in civil law from the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.<\/p>\n
Anouk is an experienced manager who has worked in the legal field for a number of years. Her professional background in various companies allowed her to gain a solid understanding of the legal environment and the overall administration of a firm. Anouk is an outstanding manager and is a shining example of resourcefulness and reliability, which are assets in achieving set goals.<\/p>\n
In addition to her CPA certification and her degree in business administration from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, Anouk also earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology from the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n
